Organization: Danish Demining Group Country: South Sudan (Republic of) Closing date: 24 Jul 2013 Introduction: Danish Demining Group (DDG) has been present in South Sudan since 2006 providing humanitarian mine action assistance and armed violence reduction. DDG’s programmes are funded by Danida, Sida, Common Humanitarian Fund (CHF) and the ministries of foreign affairs in Netherlands and Canada. DDG is a unit within Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and is part of DRC’s international department. DRC and DDG work as sister organisations in South Sudan and are growing towards greater collaboration and coordination.
