The program will support country compliance with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme in Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea, and the Central African Republic, and seeks to increase the percentage of diamonds entering the legal chain of custody, while improving the livelihoods of artisanal diamond-mining communities in the region.
