He/she is responsible for coordinating the demand forecasting process, physical and cycle counting and overseeing the warehousing activities. He/she should ensure systems and programs are sufficient to meet local inventory needs and will develop strategies for improving efficiencies and achieving the dual goals of meeting targeted operational service levels and reducing inventory.
